Carnell, which originally belonged to the Wallace family, the ancestors of the present owners. The estate is situated in the picturesque countryside of Ayrshire. A convenient location for nearby Glasgow, Edinburgh and also Prestwick Airport being only 15 minutes away by car.

The Shoot on Carnell has been established for over 100 years and is renowned for high flying pheasants. On the driven days we can offer between 250 and 500 birds over five drives, four drives in the morning and one in the afternoon. The shooting season runs from October until the end of January and the bag consists of pheasant, partridge and duck. Mini driven days can also be organised where between 60 and 120 birds can be shot.

Accommodation is available in the Carnell Mansion House and Michael and Deborah Findlay would be delighted to welcome you to their home. The house consists of ten double/twin bedrooms all tastefully decorated and including their own bathrooms. All food is cooked on the premises, from locally sourced ingredients, and served in the elegant red dining room.
